Karachi: National Forum for Environment and Health will organize Seminar on World Environment Day 2021 to on June 03.
The title of the seminar is “Restore Ecosystem”. The event will be organizing with collaboration of United Nations Environmental Programme and NED University.
President NFEH M. Naeem Qureshi said that This will be the first time in history that Pakistan will be officially hosting the day. World Environment Day, which takes place every year on June 5, is the United Nations’ flagship day to promote worldwide awareness and action for the environment.
This year’s observance of World Environment Day will be on the theme of ‘ecosystem restoration’ and focus on resetting the country’s relationship with nature. It will also mark the formal launch of the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration 2021 – 2030, he added.
Over the years, it has grown to be the largest global platform for environmental public outreach and is celebrated by millions of people across the world.
The seminar will be attended by Corporate and Industry Leaders, Professionals, Government Officials, NGO’s and Civil Society Members virtually.
